Catherine Bell was born August 14th, 1968 in London, England. Her father is British, and her mother
is Iranian. As a child she was very smart and did well in school, but was a tomboy and a social
misfit. Her original life plans were to become a doctor or engineer, but an acting class she attended
at UCLA got her hooked on acting. She left for Japan to pursue a modeling job, and began a tumultuous
two years of drinking and drugs. After returning home, Catherine got her life back in order and
her career started to take off from there.
